The following is a brief version of our terms and conditions. Our
full terms and conditions will be provided on request.
'The Supplier' henceforth shall mean the company with whom you
have placed your order.
- Overnight delivery service is possible only in the UK
mainland and does not include the highlands and islands
of the UK.
- Our Average Lead Time means the average amount of time to
produce 1,000 pieces in a single colour print from receipt
of your signed and approved order acknowledgement. We
reserve the right to offer an alternative product of a similar
price if there is a stock shortage.
- Metallic inks (Gold and Silver) have a reduced life due to their
formulation. No guarantee for adhesion or longevity can be
given on these colours. You can ask for an over-varnish to
improve their wear resistance.
- All goods received by you or your client must be inspected
within 3 working days of delivery and any shortages or
quality issues reported to the supplier (the company you
placed the order with) in writing. On no account can the
goods be distributed by you until you are satisfied that they
are of merchantable quality.
- No discounts or compensation
will be given once products have been distributed.
- In the event that we agree that defective goods were
supplied, we will replace the goods at our cost. We will not
accept any claims for consequential loss.
- The logos and images shown on this website and in the catalogue are for display
purposes only and are not intended to suggest or imply that
work was undertaken for any company, or that they endorse
the product(s) upon which their name or logo is shown. The
images are to illustrate the type of effect possible using the
printing techniques outlined above.
GENERAL INFORMATION
ARTWORK
o be supplied in digital format if possible. Preferably created
in Adobe Illustrator (*.ai), up to version 11 or Corel Draw (*.cdr)
up to version 11. All fonts must be converted to outlines. Any
work involving cleaning up images, typesetting or re-drawing
will incur additional charges. Artwork can be supplied by email
or on CD.
LINE THICKNESS
The minimum printable line thickness is 0.17mm (0.5pt) as a
positive image and 0.35mm (1pt) as a negative image (reversed
out detail).
COLOUR MATCHING
Pantone colour matches and sample colour matching can be
mixed to commercially acceptable standards on white products
only. It is not possible to achieve accurate colour matches on
non-white products because printing inks are not totally opaque.
Consequently, the substrate colour influences the printed colour.
This becomes more noticeable for darker coloured substrates
METALLIC COLOURS.
Gold and silver inks contain metallic particles which are
susceptible to rapid degradation with regular handling. Ink
manufacturers will not guarantee metallic ink longevity and
we would recommend that an over-varnish is requested to
preserve the life of the printed image.
PROOFING
Paper proofs are provided free of charge but printed proofs
will incur the current proofing charges.
DELIVERY
Our normal service varies between 2-4 weeks from your
acceptance of the order confirmation. Express service is
available on a limited range of pens at additional cost. We
despatch goods by overnight carrier to any UK mainland
address. Deliveries outside UK mainland will take longer
depending upon the destination. Carriage costs are normally
charged extra.
ORIGINATION CHARGES
Screens, plates or blocks are required for each colour or
position being printed and these are normally additional to
any unit prices quoted unless stated otherwise.
INSPECTION
We would ask you to inspect any goods supplied before you
distribute them to your clients. Defective goods will be
replaced at our cost but no refund can be given if defective
goods are not returned. In any event, liability applies to
replacement cost and we do not under any circumstances
entertain claims for consequential loss.
